Typically Sahara recalls endless Sandy landscapes. Sahara remembers. The dunes are walking through a camel caravan. The sun radiates brilliantly like a spirit, not the last time. It seems as if the magnificent Golden Dunes were always here. What mysteries, therefore, does the Great Desert conceal from humanity? But just six thousand years ago, it is difficult to believe.
The arid desert, surrounded by a dense green carpet, covered more than 9,000,000 sq km of land, almost 3,000,000 sq. miles.
What We Know So Far
There were whole villages and domestic animals grassed, where almost nothing but hot Sand today is present. The meadows and lakes were lush. It fed the river Tamanrasset to transport its waters to the Atlantic over the green Sahara. The river was over 500 or 311 miles long with its many affluents and would have listed as the world’s longest rivers. The largest Paleo River was found in 2015 by 3-D satellite images.
Through these pictures, researchers see the smooth borders. There was a lake called Lake Mega Chad in the old channels of the river, under the new desert, and in Central Africa. Now almost a fantastic lake that only the modern Chad Lake remains. Once larger than the Caspian Sea in antiquity, this lake extended almost 390,000 square kilometers in the Sahara. If the lake has already existed. It’d be the world’s biggest.
NASA’s photos demonstrate how enormous it was clearly. The lake has always been marked as a silent reminder to mankind in the desert who had a hand to empty the once deep water reservoir. But what happened? What happened? Why was that once green and a thriving area suddenly the most vacant place on the planet? For example, scientists have various explanations.
The environmentalist David Wright believes cattle are one-third of the African continent’s primary source of climate change. Local vegetation has been trampled and eaten by sheep, cows, and goats. The soil was exposed, and the sun was more exposed to the atmosphere.
The drought started, and the amount of precipitation fell. That was the start of the end. The dryness killed all plants slowly but gradually. The Green Sahara became about the size of the United States to be a major desert area. However, this doesn’t mean only animals can be held responsible. Maybe livestock farmers had already begun to destroy the green cover as a catalyst to a process. True, it’s not all that easy.
In 2018, another team of scientists suggested the old herders. Instead, the green Sahara has continued to flourish. According to one of the research authors, another 500 years ago helps preserve a deteriorating environment through seasonal livestock and selective pasturing. The third group of researchers blames the Earth axis.
After studying the dust which has precipitated the West African coast for 240,000 years, the findings have come that the climate in Sahara and Northern Africa shifts every 20,000 years from wet to dry. As the axis tilt of the earth shifts, the distribution of sunshine during the seasons is affected. The longer the sun, the more powerful the monsoon will become, and the higher the precipitation.
We may, and a moist climate turns into drought during summer when there’s less sunlight. If this is so, Meadows will once again bloom, and animals graze in the Sahara after around 10,000 years. The Invisible River and the Ghost Lake are not the only mysteries hiding from us by the magnificent wilderness. The harshest ocean seethed was Zoic’s earlier in the message. The ocean retreated here, the continents were separated, platforms moved, and a Wales cemetery seemed to have existed on the surface of the Sand. Now it is called this spot.
The Valley of Whales in Arabic
Wadi El Hitan, the valley of whales in Arabic. You might be shocked, but contemporary whales have ancient ancestors. Hours of bacila had sharp teeth and real hind limbs. Their limbs were very tiny and not moving. They reached 21 meters or 69 feet and probably were the biggest predators of their time. Think of how surprised scientists were. At the beginning of the 20th century, the bones of old whales, prehistoric dinosaurs, snakes, turtles, crocodiles, and manatees were retrieved in the heat wilderness.
They perhaps had their first idea that somebody had to take them here, but it all proved much more exciting. Other secrets remain in the Sahara sands. Not only have there been ancient predatory whales hunting, but dinosaurs once wandered. Here was discovered one of the world’s biggest dinosaurs, which is almost 100,000,000 years old. They were the bones of a sauropod named Perala Titan Stromer.
Unknown Dinosaur Found in The Sand
This giant, by fossils, can exceed a length of 32 meters or 105 feet, reaching up to 60 tonnes, and, in 2018, the bones of another formerly unknown dinosaur were discovered under the vast desert sands. The discovery was like a bursting bomb for Mansoor Taurus. Very little information was available on the last days of the dinosaurs that lived in Late Cretaceous Africa. The new type of dinosaur has also turned out to be very similar to its European equivalent, and so the dinosaur is apparently coming from modern Europe into Africa. But how can that be? Scientists were previously persuaded.
However, after they were divided, the ancient giants could not travel across continents, but this unexceptional discovery shattered accepted theories about dinosaur migration. The newly discovered species could be 8 to 10 meters long or 26 to 33 feet long and weigh up to six and a half tonnes’ African bull elephant. T
his discovery is considered one of the most important remains of new dinosaur species found among all. And Manser Asaurus’s incredible discovery will give us more detail on the fauna. However, one of Mauritania’s main mysteries is the most inexplicable mirror of Sahara and Africa.
The Eye of The Sahara
The eye of the Sahara, or the Richat structure, is an unusual geological formation easily visible from Space. It is a series of large concentric rings with a diameter of approximately 50 kilometers or 31 mi. Since it was found in 1965 by Man’s spacecraft Gemini 4, this object has achieved world renown. Since then, scientists have all these years haunted the enigmatic eye.
You looked for a solution to the key issue of what this structure is? If this is the location of an ancient meteorite falling down, then what about the crater? And why are there no traces? If this has an effect that has collapsed for millions of years within the extinguished volcano’s mouth, then why is volcanic rock totally absent? Most scientists are inclined to assume that the structure is created by erosion, but there’s a fault in this theory.
There’s also fantastic theories on an alien landing place or the location of Atlantis here. The ring of creation is 2. There is erosion, also a normal night on Earth. The enigmatic I of the Sahara remains one of the most incredible natural phenomena, but you can create something like it anyway. So I’m more likely to stay secret to whom or what the desert looks on. The desert is also silent over towns and civilization, traces of which are registered by satellites buried under Sand. And occasionally discovered by archaeologists, Life had been lively once.
The fortifications stood here. Fields waited for harvest, and cattle graze on pastures. Here, here. Here. Wild animals are roaming in search of prey, and the fish are sprinkling in rivers. The desert is now totally unfriendly. Anyone who is trying to explore the Saharan’s vast expanses has power.
Sandstorms from the sizzling sun. The greatest mystery of the Sahara, maybe in the hot dunes, is still waiting and hides it from human eyes. How could it be, do you think?
