In the path-breaking step by Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the All Indian National Congress committee (AICC), a new scheme named Telangana Rythu Bharosa has been introduced with the aim of supporting and safeguarding the agriculture of the state.

Objective of Telangana Rythu Bharosa Scheme
The core purpose of the Telangana Rythu Bharosa Progra is to improve the financial condition of farmers and to enable them be assured of covering their crop expenses adequately.
This assistance aims at supporting the farmers on their farming activities, and as a result, there is continuous financial support. This then leads to high productivity and the sustainability of farming.
Benefits of the Telangana Rythu Bharosa Scheme
- Farmers are paid Rs15,000 per year per acre to hep them primarily with their growing expectation of growing expenses related to agriculture.
- Apart from the farmers, the landholders who are leasing their farms will equally benefit under this programme through the same payment schemes.
- Those involved in paddy cultivation, especially farm laborers, will receive an annual end-of-the-year bonus of Rs. 500, along with Rs. 12,000 per year.

Eligibility Criteria for the Telangana Rythu Bharosa Scheme
To be eligible for the following Scheme of Telangana, applicants must:
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Telangana.
- There should be small, marginal, tenant, or agricultural farmers.
