Andhra Pradesh government has a brand new scheme to make the life of the shepherd communities easy by the name of the AP YSR Kapari Bandhu Scheme. In this scheme, the state government will offer monetary aid and other incentives to the shepherds of the Golu and Kuruma areas so they can raise cattle.

The National Cooperative Development Corporation Corporation oversees the YSR Kapari Bandhu Scheme. This plan will start in the first stage from Andhra Pradesh state. We will start working on a plan form for this projects application soon. The state government is yet to disclose the amount of financial assistance received. Gola-Kuruma community is the only people in Andhra Pradesh.

Objectives of YSR Kapari Bandhu Scheme 2024
YSR Kapari Bandhu Yojana 2024 aims to provide financial security to cattle breeders in the state. The state government will financially support the shepherds in this initiative so they can buy sheep and goats. This aid will be given out on a loan basis with a subsidy.

Eligibility of YSR Kapari Bandhu Scheme
- Only permanent livestock farmers in Andhra Pradesh are eligible for the benefit of this scheme.
- This program, from which only the shepherds of the Gola and Kuruma communities can profit, was initiated with the sole intention of empowering the shepherd community economically.
- Under this system, only shepherd brothers who live below the poverty line will be eligible for financial help.
- If the application shepherd does not have a bank account, he is not eligible for this scheme.
